Overview

CrypTution lets students pay tuition with cryptocurrency and gives universities a compliant off-ramp to fiat. The entire product — branding, UX, and frontend — was designed and shipped in two weeks using an AI-accelerated workflow.

Process

Started with a Figma exploration to lock the visual language and key flows (student payment, admin reconciliation) before any code was written. Used Lovable to scaffold the frontend from design specs, with prompt engineering to handle edge cases the generator missed.

Before / After

Before: University finance teams were copy-pasting wallet addresses into spreadsheets and manually reconciling transactions.

After: Automated reconciliation dashboard, real-time exchange rate display, and a one-screen payment flow for students.

What made the sprint work

  • Tight scope: two user types, three screens each, no feature creep
  • AI generation for boilerplate, manual fine-tuning for anything user-facing
  • Daily check-ins to catch prompt drift early

Outcome

MVP shipped in 14 days. Three university partners onboarded within the first month.
